Sinuses of stone
The weekend was fun. We had a nice time at the wedding; we ate, drank, and danced, which is always a good time. There wasn’t as much Latin music at this one as there was at the wedding we went to the previous weekend, so Denny didn’t get so dizzy with all the spinning.
However, on the way back, I started feeling sick. I took today off work and have been more or less doped up on cold medicine. I expect I’ll be back to normal soon, though, thanks to my trusty Zicam.
But wait…is Zicam evil? I deeply value my sense of smell. I’ve never experienced any burning sensation or loss of senses upon using it, but still, it’s disconcerting.
The thing is, it works so well. When you’re looking at only 1-2 days of misery as compared to the 7-10 that normally go along with a cold, it’s hard to turn away from a product that works. But…no sense of smell? Crap.
