Bachelorette party cometh
So it’s not quite as exotic as Portugal or Nevis, but I thought I’d share my squealy excitement about my upcoming weekend in lovely Chicago, Illinois. It’s a combination of celebrations:
- Bachelorette party for yours truly
- Bachelorette party for my dear friend Sarah, who is getting married next month
- Shower for both of us
- A chance to get together with old friends, which we try to do periodically
We also have the exact same set of bridesmaids, except for Sarah’s sister (whom I have no quarrel with, but I’m not related to her or anything, so she’s only in Sarah’s). Between the all of us, we live from New York to California to in between, so it’s convenient to be able to get lots of these things done at once.
We are staying here:
We are going to have pedicures and facials and other dainty lady things. It will be fun.
I ordered a gift for Sarah last week, and it’s not here yet. I hope it arrives soon.
