I love sports
On Sunday I did something that is a very rare occurrence in my life:Â I attended a Hawkeye sporting event.
Denny got some tickets to the men’s basketball game from his boss, so I went with him. It was actually pretty fun. I like basketball as a sport, but I never wanted to go before due to not wanting to support a certain coach and player. But now both those individuals are gone, so it was safe.
My favorite player was Looby, for these reasons:
1. His name is fun to say. LOOOOOOOO-by!
2. He is from Antigua. I would like to visit Antigua. If I were from Antigua I would probably not move to Iowa, so it’s interesting that he made that choice.
3. He dunked 3 times.
I hope he is a nice person. I don’t know anything about him except for the aforementioned three facts. He didn’t seem overly bad-attitudy or foul-y.
Also, my shirt is on backward. It’s blowing my mind. Whhhoooao!
gee, how could you not like loveable Dr. Tom… ? he even had a senate resolution passed for him… “…WHEREAS, University of Iowa Basketball Coach Tom Davis has posted a spectacular record of 249-130 at the University of Iowa…” resoultion. i am still waiting for the Alford senate resolution…

I’m sorry to say but Antiqua is not such a nice place.
It’s very small, and it has little of the natural beauty of say, St. Thomas. There are wonderful people there, but a lot of poverty.
The water’s beautiful. But I think you’d go crazy being couped up on that island for very long.
I went to that game too! I was sitting by the band with my ma and pa! Apparently there haven’t been many dunks this season, so I guess we got to see a pretty good show.
