Mystery
I just downloaded (and am writing from) Stainless, the Chromey new browser for Leopard (thanks, Jack). I decided to try Flickr on it.
It automatically logged me in.
How did it know?
Also, either I really need to upgrade WordPress or Stainless doesn’t support it very well. I fear the former.
Chrome/Stainless/Etc imports your saved passwords from Firefox and IE. Freaky, eh?
I’ve had very little problems with Chrome + WP. I’m on 2.6 — what are you on?
I was thinking they should’ve at least named the Mac equivalent “Brushed,” given the texture’s long history with OSX.
I’m guessing since Stainless uses WebKit, it has access to Safari’s password store.
