Stormy weather
There are serious thunderstorms on the horizon. This is not so good for my plan to go running tonight.
And I was really excited to go running tonight. Do you know why?
Well.
For one thing, I’m feeling pretty darn healthy. And, even more excitingly…
…my incredibly generous, wonderful, beautiful friend Emily got me an iPod Shuffle for an early wedding present. Oh my lord, I am so excited about it. Denny and I registered for two of them, not actually expecting to get them (they’re kind of extravagant). We agreed that in the likely event that nobody got them for us, we’d get them for each other for wedding gifts. I’m still happy to do that for Denny, but now it looks like I’ll get some bling after all. Heh heh.
‘Tis but a small token of my love for both of you, and I was happy to do it. Just know you’re probably going to get jack shizzle at your showers, m’dear. 🙂 I’m glad you’ll be getting some bling for the wedding!
Haha…oh, Emily, you’ve done MORE than enough, so don’t feel bad a bit about just bringing your lovely self to the showers. And I don’t just mean about the iPod Shuffle (though that’s AWESOME). You’ve been a great friend for so long, and that’s the most valuable thing of all.
