Lost season finale
Unless you’ve been living on a deserted island, inhabited by scary people and possibly a monster and maybe there are psychological/sociological experiments being performed on you, you are aware that tomorrow night is the season finale of Lost. In honor of the occasion, I am making a Lost-themed dinner. WARNING: if you are watching Lost a season behind on DVD, read no further, because the food items and descriptions contain plot spoilers from the season.
- Cucumber, Mango, and Black Bean Salad (just because they eat a lot of mangos)
- Libby-Got-Shot-in-the-Blankets (aka pigs in a blanket with a hole poked in the middle and ketchup blobbing out)
- Hurley’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
What to drink? Boone’s “Bought the” Farm wine?
I’m going to borrow the Lost DVDs from my sister after she’s done; she and Chris are addicted. Do you know how hard it was for me to stop reading at WARNING?! 🙂 Right now, I’m watching J.J. Abrams previous masterpiece – Alias. Alias is ending any day now, too, and I’ve had to close my eyes and sing a little song if I see previews for that on TV… my life is so hard. My favorite evil – but often spineless – genius on Alias is Sark, who happens to look very much like my old friend, Tim. Does anyone else watch Alias?
Nope, I haven’t watched Alias, although my friend Danny likes it too and has recommended it. That might be a fun DVD purchase to get through a summer of reruns.
Lo there. Apologies for linking and lurking without saying anything! I stumbled on your blog via Delicious Days and the woodruff posting, and found what you have to say quite interesting, whether about food or not. No need to feel you have to link back, just keeping a list for my reading purposes.
Cheers!
