What to cook
It’s not that I don’t love you, Em (you should know that’s far from the case), but Map and Dot chimed in first, and I went to the store last night, so I got stuff for cranberry cupcakes.
I’m thinking about trying something fancy with the pecans, maybe making some kind of praline topping. Or not. It depends on how much energy I can dedicate to it tonight.

You might think this kind-of odd, but I am getting married this July and while trying to find a website for DeLuxe bakery I stumbled upon your website. Lo and behold, you must have been on the same wavelength when planning your wedding that I am now on! Yes, unfortunately DeLuxe still doesn’t have a website; but I, too, am looking at catering from New Pi, Cottage, or other similar awesome IC folks and am considering similar restaurants for the rehearsal dinner. Where did you end up having your wedding and reception? I didn’t want to go “snooping” around your site, but I would love to know, because I imagine if I’m looking at the same caterers we might have our venue preferences in common too. And this wedding business is tricky, all the comparison shopping and compromises and stressing about weather on the day of! I’d appreciate your thoughts. 🙂

I’m replying to you via email, but in case anybody else is interested, DeLuxe does have a website, just not a very good one. I hope it’s improved since I last looked at it; they used to have images that would only load in IE for Windows (yuck yuck yuck).
