Well, we had doctor’s appointment today, and the heart is beating loud and clear.
We’re nervous but really, really happy.

Congratulations! How exciting. Denny emailed the news and I had to drop you a line. I hope you are feeling OK and possibly avoiding morning sickness. Don’t know when I’ll get to see you & Denny. Well, FWIW, not finding out the gender was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life when Ava was born.
YES!!!!! We are so excited about becoming grandparents, and can’t wait to welcome this very special baby into our lives. I got a call from Shannon about 5 min. after I told Jackie, but she said she got an email from you so we know the news is out and a lot of people are expressing their delight at this news. Also, what a way to add to the joy as you celebrate your anniversary next week.
Oh, also, if you haven’t started thinking about daycares, now’s a good time to start. I would also highly recommend Pediatric Associates over UIHC’s peds unit.
