I’m pretty tired because I didn’t sleep well last night. I think it’s this frequently-changing weather.

I had weird dreams last night. I dreamed that I was getting married in my parents’ (unfinished) basement, right down the rickety old stairs, with the ceremony taking place in front of the deep freeze. All kinds of friends and family were there, except there was no room for the in the basement, so they were all upstairs and I had to holler up play-by-plays to them. I tripped over a bucket of film that my dad was thawing in front of the freezer (back when he shot film, he used to store it in that freezer, and he’d have to let it warm up before using it). There was no officiant or groom, just me and the deep freeze. I was wearing a wedding dress, though.

Last week I dreamed that I was hanging out with my friend Ruby, and she said her mom had invited us over for dinner. When we got there, dinner was just a big bowl of olives. I was a bit put off since I only sort of like olives.

I always feel self-righteous when I don’t eat high-fat things like alfredo sauce or avocados or olives. But the truth is, I just don’t like them all that much. This is my deepest secret.
