Thanks for all the comments, you guys.  It’s really touching to know so many people care.

My two special guys:

We’re pretty sure we’ve decided on a name, but until we’ve actually signed the forms, I’m going to keep a lid on it, just in case we change our minds.

Dude, go ahead and draw it out as long as possible. I’m enjoying the suspense over the name way more than what it replaced (suspense about caucus and primary results, yech).

And WOW does that picture bring back some intense memories. I envy you three and the experience of those first few delirious and amazing days.

Here’s hoping your exhaustion is a blissful exhaustion. 🙂

We know that you were just waiting to decide whether to spell Rooster the traditional way, or perhaps a little more creatively,as is Rustyre. Seriously, congratulations from the Linduskas- we are so happy for you. Enjoy every moment- parenting is the most wonderful experience in the world!

  4. Linds says:

I think by “really touching” you actually mean “kinda creepy”!!

  5. Katy Baggs says:

    Oh Snap, that’s adorable.

  6. Annie says:

I’m so happy for you and Denny. Baby Bisquito is a lucky boy to have such great parents.

Your picture does bring back great memories. For Sydney’s first several months in this world, starting with the very day she was born, her preferred place to sleep was on my chest. She just turned twelve and is practially a clone of me. She’s a daddy’s girl in every respect and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

  8. Katy & Kyle says:

Congratulations to both of you! We can’t wait to meet him in person. We hope it wasn’t something you ate on Saturday night. I knew we went to heavy on the Italian seasoning! Just kidding, so glad he’s here and you guys are all okay!

Birth definitely trumps Yahoo fame! Congratulations to you and to Denny – you’re going to be superb parents!! Wishing you joy (and sleep)!

  10. Aunt Barbara says:

Can’t wait to hear the name! Looks like a pretty happy dad and son. Blessings to all of you!

  11. Scott says:

Whatever it is, make sure the name Googles Well.

  12. Katy Baggs says:

Please name him “Areli Tabor BK Clarke Crall.”

The “BK” stands for “Baseball Kid.”

  13. Mike says:

Congrats! Welcome to the world of parenting. I began to think “Bisquito” might have sticking power as a name idea. It has great Googability.

I also restate my ‘modes of personal transportation’ theme suggestion: Walker, Wade, Segway. They all go nicely with Crall. And Joaquin, if you want to be clever.

  14. Bex says:

Remember “Booger” from Animal House? Yeah, don’t name him that.

Congrats on a healthy, beautiful baby boy!

    Love
    Bex

Wow – what fun to follow all the news and pictures online. We’ve seen the happy boys, now it would be great to see a picture of you as well, Aprille, so that we really do know that you’re safe and sound!

Boys really are wonderful to raise and have around – take it from me – he’s a very lucky young man to have great parents like you and Denny.

Waiting anxiously to hear the name!! Hope to talk to you “in person” soon.

    Best wishes!
    Maggie

    What a beautiful pic! Awww!

I hate to break it to you, but the names “Urhines Icy Eight Special K” and “Marijuana Pepsicola” have already been used. You’ll have to find something else to name him. 😉

(Actually, my GUESS, and I hope I’m not spoiling anything if this really will be his name, is that he will be called Mason. Because you almost excreted some sort of Masonry. DID I GET IT RIGHT? I did, didn’t I??? Hehehehe)

I am so so so happy for you and Denny. 🙂
