Bridesmaid dresses I like

Lest you think all I’m interested in is politics, here’s a frou-frou wedding post.

Here are some bridemaid dresses I like. All color replacement was done by yours truly in a half-assed method, just for visualization purposes:

#1 (above): I like this one because it’s kind of unusual, and I could see my friends conceivably wearing the top again (this may be a delusion that comes over all brides; I don’t know).

#2 (above): I like the drapiness of this one, and the fabric would go well with my dress.

#3 (above): I really like the smooth lines of this one.

#4 (above): The flowy scarf thingy is kind of exciting, and again, the fabric works well with my dress.

You know what, Aprille… I *really* like that first one, and I definitely think you’re right about wearing the top again. I’d even put that under a suit for a flashier look. I didn’t *love* it when it was in black/silver, but I love it in the blue! That’s my two cents! I really like the bold necklace, too – I think that really makes it snap. (Snap?)

I voted on which *girl* I liked best. I’m sorry, but I just let that influence my decision on the dress.

I think it’s nice you are thinking of your bridesmaids needs. I tried that and I only think one person wears their skirt. They are all very pretty. I think that 1 is going to be more flattering for those that aren’t as skinny and perfectly proportioned. (Unless, of course, you have hired bridesmads from some sort of agency!)

    Okay… I have to admit I voted twice… for #1 and #4. 🙂

My sister voted for #2 — she thought that one would be prettiest with your dress.

I like 1 & 4. One, beause of the possibility of getting something that a bridesmaid could use again. I like the lines of #4. Have you considered separates?
