Ice cream Thursday
Remember how I was sad a while back because I thought we weren’t getting our annual ice cream from the bosses? Well, it turns out I just needed to be patient, because we’re getting it today. Woot!
I hope they have good flavors available.  I think I got some sort of ice cream sandwich last year. It was tasty.
So, what are people’s predictions for the final 3 on Project Runway? I’m gunning for Michael (my number one favorite), Uli (my second-favorite), and probably Laura for the third slot. Jeffrey is so all over the place; he can be great and he can be truly awful. Laura is more consistent, but on the other hand, I’m getting bored with her. I would wear almost anything she designed, though. It sucks for her that she can’t drink all that champagne that’s always flowing. It would be really hard to be pregnant and under those high-pressure circumstances, I bet. She probably feels tired and pukey, and to add late nights, international travel, and high-stakes competition into the mix doesn’t sound fun at all.
Laura already has, what, 18 kids at home? I suspect she’s probably fairly used to walking around pregnant by now. And she could have a little bubbly, if she wanted.
Ain’t no such thing as a little bubbly. Mmm…bubbly…
I feel really bored with Laura, even though I liked her a lot at first. I’m starting to feel the same about Uli – same, same, same. I would like the final 3 to be Michael (also my fave), Jeffrey, and Kayne, because I am always interested to see what they come up with – even if I hate it and/or it’s totally tacky. At least it’s a surprise.
Laura is the new Chloe. Chloe designed the same turquoise crap over and over again. And somehow Chloe snuck her way in the top three. Then somehow she ended up winning the whole mess. Laura designs only crap she would wear. All this uptight architect-y cuffed crap. Last episode she was standing there wearing the same exact thing her model was wearing minus the (not so) puffy collars. The other way she is the new Chloe is she is never called out on it by the judges. No one ever asked Chloe to try something other than turquoise.
My top three picks that should be there, I want to be there and I think will be there are all the same. Maybe I’m being too hopeful, but #1 is Michael, #2 Uli (she’s so sexy) and #3 Jeffrey. I hated Jeffrey at first, personality-wise, but now I think he’s important to the show. Plus that dress he designed last week was excellent. I was really hoping to see Laura go instead of Vincent. I am not a Vincent fan and most of his crap is poorly done. Both he and Laura have a problem with never being able to say anything negative about their own work. Laura’s personality has eaten at me from day one and she needs to go for the baby’s sake. She’s next. At least Vincent could have entertained with his weird remarks and exclamations of things “getting me off”
I’m just super glad Angela is gone. She’s probably back gluing rosettes and macaroni on her wind generator in Ohio, where she lives off the grid. Did she ever mention that?
