You Can’t Do That in a Morgue

I recently learned that Lisa Ruddy, one of the stars of my childhood favorite Canadian import You Can’t Do That on Television, currently runs a funeral home with her husband (source).
Who wouldda guessed?

If anything worse has ever become of a child star, I don’t want to hear about it.

Wait, was she Moose? Or am I thinking of a different show?

I always had a crush on Vanessa. Geek girl – rowr.

Nope, Moose was Christine McGlade. Most of them went by their real names (including a young Alanis), so Lisa was just Lisa.

I was watching some old episodes on YouTube and I realized that I missed a lot of innuendos as a kid. For some reason I never realized that the father of the family was a drunk.

Drunk? Hmm. I always thought maybe he had CP, or something, though he was kinda dirty.

    Hey AC,

An old friend who hasn’t spoken with you in like 10 years wants to send you an email. Please email him at rmbennett66@yahoo.com so he can provide more details.

    🙂

You definitely don’t want to hear what happened to the cast of Different Strokes then.

Personally I’ve always thought it was cool that Paul Bearer played a mortician on TV, and it turned out he was a mortician in his real everyday life too.
