Indianapolis part deux

We’re just getting finished up at the conference. I’m actually skipping the keynote (I’m so naughty) because I got into a conversation with some colleagues and after that it was awkward to walk in late. I’ll go to a session in a little bit here, and then we’re going to hit the road.

I had the most bizarre dream last night. I dreamed the movie Labyrinth got remade, only instead of Jennifer Connelly, the filmmakers digitally stuck Britney Spears in her place. Then there were a few additional song and dance numbers that weren’t in the original, and they brought David Bowie back, only he was his current old age instead of how old he was in the original version. There were serious continuity errors.

I woke up in a cold sweat of horror.

This is so hilarious. And so strange because of all random things I was thinking about the Labyrinth yesterday. There was some goofy synthesized song on the radio that reminded me of the soundtrack, but it wasn’t Bowie and I even commented to James about it.

I would wake up horrified too.

But perhaps that baby would be better off with Jareth than Britney anyway.

Bowie says, “You don’t scare me. I got chunks of girls like you in my stool.”
